I loaded the provided software onto my MacBook Pro easily and quickly (that left me with a suspicion that I may not even have had to load it - it may well have been there already). The printer then produced a perfect test page and was ready to print. Beautiful quality prints - time after time, no hassle - I would say it is noiser than an inkjet but not an issue and printing is really quick - so after a couple of weeks things are looking very promising. It is too early to say how cheap or expensive this machine is to run - maybe I will do an update in the future when I know what the position is. But so far, brilliant printer, excellent results and a very satisfied customer. Just for your information this printer needs to be on a solid surface eg desk because the paper drawer does not slide out very well if ...
